iproute2: Tools for advanced Linux IP Configuration1

Package available in: [trunk] [8.0] [7.0] [6.0] [2.1]

The standard UNIX commands ifconfig, route and arp don't give the administrator full control of all features of the Linux IP stack.

In order to configure IP Tunnels, QoS, Policy Routing, etc. you need the tools 'ip' and 'tc' from this package. Read the "Linux 2.4 Routing and Traffic Control HOWTO" first!
